I, Martin Piffer and my wife, Tammy Cunnington, founded MKP Construction in 2015. We are a family business with a focus on client relationships. We strive to offer the highest quality work with the integrity our community deserves.
Tammy Cunnington was born and raised in Ponoka, Alberta. Aside from MKP Construction, Tammy is a competitive athlete with the Canadian National Para-swimming Team, with whom she competed in the Rio Paralympics in 2016. While not competing, Tammy is very involved in the community, volunteering with Fast and Female, Central Alberta Ronald McDonald House, as well as, Canadian Blood Services.

Martin Piffer was born and raised on a farm near Bashaw, Alberta. Martin is a Journeyman Red Seal and Blue Seal carpenter with 17 years experience. He also continues to train and broaden his skills to stay current in an ever evolving industry.
MKP Construction only takes on one job at a time, as Martin believes in being a hand’s on owner. He is on every job, every day, making sure every job is done to the client’s needs.
We are focused on building a long-term, sustainable relationship with our customers and Trade Associates.
